I started writing a book in the beginning of my junior year that is focused on exploring the impact of the romanticization of mental illness, the causes of mutually toxic interpersonal relationships and unresolved potential through an allegory. The surface plot is a story about a young man struggling with mental health problems after a tragedy and a young woman who falls for his problematic tendencies rather than him.
