About

Hi, my name is Yevangelina Poghosyan, I’m a college student studying Communications and Political Science, and I’ve wanted to be a good writer ever since I could remember. This form of communication and expression is extremely important to me because of the impact that it can have on others. I first fell in love with writing at a very young age when I saw how one of my stories could express my opinions. Then in my junior year, I began writing a novel that explores the impact of mental illness, the causes of mutually toxic interpersonal relationships, and unmet potential, all through an allegory. I felt like I had to write this novel after three of my close ones were hospitalized because of mental illness. The story follows a young man going through with psychiatric problems proceeding a tragedy. He meets a young woman who falls in love with his troubled tendencies, rather than him. I finished writing the novel by December 2018 and now I’m in the grueling and disgusting process of editing. Once it’s entirely finished, I hope to publish it traditionally. However, in addition to my novel, I also write about life lessons I’ve learned, recipes I frequently use, workout techniques, short stories, essays, poems, and my episodic literary web-series which I will publish on this website which I hope you will enjoy.
